Law firm Ogier has become a member of Digital Jersey, the independent body representing stakeholders in Jersey’s digital community.

Following recent changes to Jersey’s e-gaming offering, the island is the newest tier-one jurisdiction to emerge, offering lost cost, high quality e-gaming services.

Sara Johns, Managing Associate at Ogier, said: ‘We very much look forward to continuing to build our relationship with Digital Jersey through our corporate membership and to providing as much support as we can to the current and future members of our digital community.’

The strength of Jersey’s involvement in the digital sector, particularly in e-gaming, was highlighted at the recent ICE Totally Gaming conference in London, where Digital Jersey, Locate Jersey, the Jersey Gambling Commission and local members of industry worked in partnership to represent the island.

Sara added: ‘We were delighted to see the recent announcement by Digital Jersey that 250 strong enquiries for e-gaming in Jersey were received at ICE Totally Gaming. This is a real endorsement of Jersey’s offering in this sector.’
