babylon Launches Mobile Health App in Jersey

On behalf of babylon, we welcome you to attend the launch of babylon’s mobile health app on Monday 17 November at the Radisson Blu Hotel from 8:30am until 10:00am.
Digital Jersey has been working closely with babylon, local GP’s, the Social Security Department and the General Medical Council to launch Jersey’s first integrated mobile health service. This new application, available for smartphones and tablets provides patients, registered to participating surgeries, to access online video consultations with their GP’s, book appointments on line and ask any questions via their smartphone or device.
Five local surgeries have signed up to the babylon scheme, so far, with an estimated reach of 55,055 residents who will be able to make use of this service. The surgeries currently signed up are:
- Island Medical Centre
- Castle Quay Surgery
- Health Plus
- Cleveland Clinic
- Lister Surgery
Digital Jersey has been working closely with babylon as part of a broader strategy to develop leading eHealth capabilities in Jersey. The agenda for the event will be as follows:
