Digital Jersey launches Business & Enterprise Vocational Course

Digital Jersey in partnership with Education and Grainville School is delighted to be launching a new vocational skills programme that has been developed as part of the 14-16 curriculum.

This initiative follows work from the Education Department  and Education and Skills TAG of Digital Jersey, to foster links with the world of work and the business community, who have worked together to design a programme that ensures skills meet current and future needs for business and the community. The course, the first of its kind, offers young people the opportunity to develop first hand vocational experience of working in businesses, actively encouraging creativity and entrepreneurial confidence.

The course will be delivered by business leaders who will share their knowledge, skills and experiences with the students, alongside mentors from industry who will support the development of students throughout the programme. The programme itself will be delivered in the Digital Jersey Hub and within business locations, moving away from the traditional school environment.

We invite you to get involved in supporting our future talent and hope to see you at the launch.
