An experienced media professional and entrepreneur, Gwyn Garfield-Bennett worked as a journalist for UK national and regional television, radio, newspapers and magazines as well as founding her own magazine publishing company. Gwyn founded Jersey Coders, a computer coding club for teenagers and updated her own coding skills through the Digital Jersey Coding programme.
Gwyn owned and managed her own magazine publishing business in the UK , edited a leading regional title and worked as a freelance writer for national newspapers such as The Independent on Sunday and The Sunday Express. Her broadcasting experience includes many years as a newsreader for the BBC and ITN in the UK and Jersey, as well as being a trained video journalist and TV producer.
Gwyn has a Public Relations diploma and has represented major international clients for their communications needs. She is also a keen fiction writer.
