It’s time to celebrate the island’s top tech talent. Innovation is powered by islanders, and we want to reward those going the extra mile to make the future better for all of us.

 

Save the date for Friday 26th April for an unforgettable awards ceremony at the Royal Jersey Showground, sponsored by C5 Alliance and led by top stand-up comedian Hal Cruttenden.

 

Following a drinks reception sponsored by EWG & Currency Cloud – complete with entertainment courtesy of the lively music duo ‘Slap and Tickle’ – a sumptuous 3 course meal will be served, before host Hal Cruttenden commences the award-giving ceremony. Once the ceremony concludes, guests can unwind and revel in the captivating live music performed by the talented Ruby Rouge Band.

Guests to be seated in the main hall.
The doors to the main hall will open at 18:30; we would like all guests to be seated and ready for dinner service at 19:00.

19:00 – 21:30
3 course dinner – pre-orders are essential.
Enjoy a starter and main course followed by a shared dessert platter for your table. Vegetarian options are available and your food must be pre-ordered in advance of the event. You will be required to complete a pre-order form for food and beverages. Drinks during the dinner are not included, therefore a pre-order is required.

Hal Cruttenden

Hal Cruttenden is one of the top stand up comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor. He has made several appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Have I Got News For You’ and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ as well as regular appearances on shows such as ‘Mock the Week’, ‘The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice’ and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’. He’s written and starred in his own sitcom, ‘Hal’ on Radio 4 (co-written with Dominic Holland).

Hal has completed six nationwide tours, and he is also a three time Chortle Award nominee and was nominated for the Perrier Newcomer Award back at the Edinburgh Festival in 2002.

Ruby Rouge

Ruby Rouge are the go-to band for high-end corporate events and private parties. With a versatile repertoire and unmatched energy they can bring any crowd to their feet with their killer playlist made up of the best music of all time.

Each table host will be sent the pre-order form to disperse to the people on their table.

Guests will then be required to complete the form to submit their menu preferences, no later than Friday 12th April 2024.

Head Judge: Rachel Harker, Technology Development Consultant, Digital Jersey

Rachel specialises in developing and commercialising novel technology with a focus on complex interdisciplinary challenges.  Through technical-innovation consultancy TPO12 she develops breakthrough technology with global industrial companies and in Jersey she acts as Technology Development Consultant to Digital Jersey with a focus on the Data Trusts initiative.

Rachel is Head Judge for the TechAwards.

Dementia Jersey

Dementia Jersey is the only local charity for people with dementia and those who care for them, providing expert support every step of the way whilst raising awareness and campaigning to improve services on the island.

They offer a range of services and activities that are completely free of charge, including one-to-one support, carers support groups, therapeutic activities, musical memories, SplashChat, art exploration, pétanque and so much more!

Got a Question?

What's the dress code?

Smart-casual / dress to impress!

Where will I be sitting?

We will work closely with the caterer and venue on the table plan. Please note table numbers are subject to change therefore at the time of booking we will not confirm table number / position.

Do I need an actual ticket?

No. We have a booking system to manage all attendees, food orders, etc. Closer to our event we will contact booking organisers that have booked tickets on a shared table, and advise which table number is assigned to their reservation.

What does my booking include?

What is not included in my booking?

● Following the drinks reception, all other beverages are payable and pre-orders / pre-payment is essential.
● Transfers to and from the venue is not included, we recommend you pre-arrange your journey to and from the event in advance.

What happens if I don't submit my pre-order?

Due to the scale of this event, pre-orders are essential. If we do not receive a food pre-order you will automatically be served the Vegan menu.
