The Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to work alongside the Digital Team in our Jersey office.
As a Digital Account Manager you would have the opportunity to manage a range of clients in diverse sectors and will oversee multi-channel projects.
You will be creative, strategic and collaborative, self-motivated in keeping your knowledge current and consistently recommend a best practice approach across a wide range of digital marketing channels and technologies.
About the Digital Team
The digital team is made up of expert web developers, UX designers and digital marketers. The web team is responsible for delivering innovative websites driven by UX. The digital marketing team is responsible for delivering intelligent data-driven digital strategies, executing innovative digital campaigns and expert SEO consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Digital Director and digital team leads with the daily management of client accounts
  • Scheduling and management of client projects, tasks and support tickets using our in-house scheduling software
  • Monitoring and reporting on internal resource and capacity, responsible for ensuring both team members and clients are kept up to date on project developments, changes in scope, timings and budgets.
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client relationships, providing best-in-class, responsive client service and partnership
  • Work closely with clients to assist in understanding and documenting their business, marketing and technical requirements and then to work with the Switch internal cross-functional teams to suggest and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Continually look at ways to improve client satisfaction, communication, quality assurance and client retention

Your Skills

  • A collaborative team player – essential
  • Strong knowledge of Google Sheets and Google Slides – essential
  • Minimum two years experience in account management or equivalent role – preferred
  • Experience with project management and scheduling systems – preferred
  • Relevant Business/Marketing, PR/Journalism or Maths/Science/IT degree – preferred 
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Social Media advertising, Mailchimp, WordPress CMS – preferred but not essential

  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently and to prioritise accordingly – essential
  • Strong literacy, numeracy and accuracy skills – essential
  • Strong communication and liaison skills – both written and verbal.
  • Well-organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-confident and self-motivated. Able to work with minimal supervision. 
  • Open, honest and direct, is comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • A love of all things digital, with an enthusiasm for multiple areas of digital marketing and an interest in learning more!
