To sustain our competitive edge and set new standards in digital excellence, we are seeking an innovative Head of Digital to spearhead our team. Working closely with our business development team and collaborating with the wider marketing team this role will help to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to our digital, marketing and BD initiatives.
Digital Strategy:
- Develop and implement Ogier’s digital strategy
- Identify and leverage emerging digital trends
- Advise on user experience, usability, accessibility and performance of digital products
- Focus on sustainability and reducing digital carbon footprint
Website Development & Technical Support:
- Manage continual development and maintenance of Ogier’s websites
- Conduct accessibility audits and optimise SEO
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Handle digital crises and monitor website performance metrics
- Maintain robust security measures and up-to-date domain records
User Experience:
- Implement UX strategies to improve user satisfaction and engagement
- Conduct UX research and testing for iterative design improvements
Training & Support:
- Provide training on digital trends and best practices
- Support website editors on Umbraco and identify training needs
- Develop and maintain a style guide and website playbook.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor, analyse and report website analytics
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Passionate about digital innovation
- Deep understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms (Umbraco), and digital tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs
- Strong UX methodologies and commitment to user-centric design
- Proficient in website analytics tools
- Excellent understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
