The role has a high profile within the Jersey Finance team, demanding relevant experience in a digital role with particular emphasis on social media.  Excellent organisation and project management skills are also required.  Reporting to the Digital Manager, the post holder will need to be able to operate as part of a highly focused team dealing with a wide range of digital platforms, tools and techniques to support Jersey Finance’s overall marketing strategy and business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Relevant digital marketing experience and a digital marketing qualification would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a wide range of digital marketing platforms including web content management systems (ideally WordPress) and social scheduling tools (ideally Sprout Social).
  • High level of experience developing social media platforms and campaigns particularly LinkedIn.
  • Able to analyze, interpret and present data using tools like Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Experienced in SEO techniques and tools, paid search and optimisation of campaign landing pages.
  • Proficient in photo, video and podcast editing software.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with an enthusiastic attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Principle Accountabilites

  • Projects: Support Digital Manager with overall digital strategy delivery, platform onboarding and maintenance, KPI performance and digital projects.
  • Social: Manage social scheduling tool and develop social media platforms, strategies and campaigns primarily on LinkedIn, and also for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Data: Analyze and interpret data from a variety of platforms to measure the end-to-end success of campaigns producing reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Usability: Evaluate end-to-end user experience across multiple channels with a focus on improving conversions and usability.
  • Email: Create and send emails using our email platform, analyse performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • SEO: Apply SEO concepts and best practices to optimise web content using appropriate tools.
  • Content Creation: Asset creation using tools like InDesign and Photoshop and supporting Marketing team with creative including social artwork, web and email imagery.
  • Media Zone: Shared responsibility for Media Zone including ensuring the appropriate equipment is available, podcast recording and editing and training for the team.
  • Marketing Support: Advising the team on optimal web, organic and paid social formats and techniques to maximise campaign results.
  • Best Practice: Stay up-to-date with latest best practice and qualifications (including Google) identifying opportunities and new ideas to boost awareness and growth.
