In this role you will be key in delivering Second Line of Defence oversight of Non-Financial Risks across all Global Businesses and Global Functions in CIIOM. This will be a very visible role, and if successful, you will have the opportunity have make a significant impression across various business lines and with senior level stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Assess, challenge, and provide critical guidance to the 1st line of defence on their responsibilities as set out in the Bank’s Risk Management Framework.
  • Act as the Operational & Resilience Risk Representative at CIIOM governance forums, and associated risk and control meetings.
  • Support the improvement in the timeliness and completeness of risk and control identification, assessment, and documentation within the Bank’s system of record (Helios) as well as supporting any remediation plans.
  • Conduct thematic reviews to ensure that risk and control environment is commensurate with the nature of operations.
  • Support with embedding the Risk Management Framework and provide advice, guidance, and challenge on relevant framework developments.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Demonstrable understanding of Operational & Resilience Risk; Specifically – Data, Third Party, Change Execution – essential
  • Extensive experience of undertaking risk and control reviews – essential
  • Working knowledge which encompasses IT / Cyber – desirable.
  • Proven ability to connect with and build excellent working relationships with all lines of business and senior level stakeholders.
  • Well-rounded communication skills in all forms is also key in this role

This role is based in Jersey.
