It’s an exciting time to be at Doodle Labs. Our team is growing and there is an excellent position open for a proven Front-end Engineer to join us. Your role will be extremely varied and you will be directly involved in building websites, web applications and mobile apps. You must be very confident at writing JavaScript and ideally you will have experience of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, react or angular. You must be able to build a pixel perfect UI from designs and implement the exact user experience requirements. Cross browser knowledge is essential as you will be need to ensure consistency across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Edge. We’re massive advocates of the Progressive Web Application, so experience with service workers and other related PWA techniques is a big bonus.

—> Fluent in JavaScript—> Expert at HTML —> Expert at CSS—> Desire to learn —> Able to take direction—> Understanding of JS frameworks like VueJS, react and Angular —> Understanding of how the frontend talks with the backend. —> Understanding of  MVC based architecture —> Proven work experience as a Front-end developer (Examples of work) —> Strong understanding of media queries and responsive design techniques —> Great at browser testing and debugging —> Knowledge of website performance —> Knowledge of SEO principles —> In-depth understanding of the entire web development process —> Familiarity with the Adobe Suite —> Familiarity with content management systems —> Strong team player and keen to learn —> Familiarity with Craft CMS
