Elise (Jersey) Limited develops, manages and maintains liquidity provision software for it’s JVA regulated broker from it’s head office in St Helier, Jersey. Due to the ongoing growth of the business they are now seeking a Junior Quantitative Liquidity Analyst. The ideal candidate will be provided with all the necessary training to progress their career. In doing so they will develop a deep technical knowledge of liquidity management, high frequency order processing and market microstructure analysis of traditional asset classes and a working knowledge of the systems that modern exchanges rely upon.

 

Experience

Ideally the candidate will have two years experience working within financial markets in one of the following areas.

·         Risk management

·         Broking

·         Trading

·         Fund management

 

Qualifications

 

A minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate subject from a top university. We are particularly interested in graduates with the following degrees: 

·         Mathematics

·         Computer science

·         Engineering

·         Physics

Skills

 

You’ll need to have:

·         strong numeracy skills

·         excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         resilience and integrity

·         team-working ability

·         independent thinking

·         intellectual curiosity

·         enthusiasm for the modern financial markets

·         alertness, accuracy and decisiveness under pressure

·         ability to accept responsibility

·         practical knowledge of a scripting language such as VB, Python, R etc would be a benefit
