Are you a recent school, college or uni leaver who’s looking for a career in web and software development? Or perhaps someone wanting a change of career direction?
As a result of continued growth in demand from our amazing clients, we’re opening a vacancy for a Junior Web Developer to learn the skills and craft of an exciting and rewarding professional career.
Jersey’s digital economy is growing, and Webreality has been a mainstay of the digital creative sector since 2000. We’re fiercely proud of the work we’ve done over our first twenty three years in developing local students into brilliant digital professionals across a range of disciplines. Now a team of 28 motivated and fun-loving people, we want to give another new recruit the chance of a career in our fantastic industry.
About the role
The role of Junior Web Developer is wide-ranging, covering the development of UI (user interface) code, including HTML/CSS, Javascript and various front end code frameworks, CMS (content management system) implementations, and providing exceptional support to our clients, which is at the heart of Webreality’s excellent reputation.
To be eligible for this role, you must already have some demonstrable experience in the development of websites, ideally using one or more of the commonly used CMS products, OR you must have studied relevant syllabus content as part of an academic course to A level standard or above.
We’ll also expect you to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for digital technology generally, and especially web and mobile software.
You’ll be especially attractive to us if you can also offer knowledge of web design concepts, tools and techniques, web hosting infrastructure, data protection, and cybersecurity.
