Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the full programme of software development projects from planning to delivery and deployment
  • Leading Agile methodologies to delivery successful software projects and manage customer expectations across project cycles
  • Use communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of project timeline, milestones, and expectations on delivery
  • Identifying critical risks and issues and collaborating with the Studio teams to successfully resolve, limiting business impact and maintaining our client’s confidence
  • Make executive decisions on the priorities for the Studio and ensure communication is heard loud and clear across the departments about where energies are required
  • Plan and execute the support and processes for new service lines, working in tandem with the commercial team to execute delivery perfectly against future sales
  • Working with Product and Engineering teams to define the product vision and roadmap; adjusting roadmap as needed to account for changes in business goals
  • Support the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
  • Direct the work of employees and partners assigned to the project including service, technical, finance, contract, administrative, and customer areas.
  • Provide consultative direction, employ good judgement and work in partnership with clients to resolve any potential conflicts or concerns during project execution

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • This role would suit an individual with a passion for digital transformation, SaaS technologies and user experience looking with a focus on FinTech & RegTech
  • An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and proven experience of working with daily releases and high output development work
  • Ability to react well to changing requirements with a positive attitude 
  • Commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work with excellent attention to detail 
  • Working experience with the Agile methodology and proven success of independently managing complex initiatives, external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Critical thinking to analyse complex situations and independently determine the appropriate course of action
  • Ability to proactively identify and address project risks and issues
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills to conduct client and status meetings
  • Experience with Project Management Tools to execute under accelerated timeframes
  • Previous experience of managing a project team is essential and experience working with development teams would be advantageous
