Public Health is everyone’s business and having good quality information and insight means we can help our Islanders to live healthy, longer lives.
The Public Health Directorate are embarking on a project to understand the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Islanders and their health. This project will involve a range of data collection techniques, including interviews, focus groups and workshops. We are looking for candidates with experience of conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analysing qualitative data and presenting on findings to a range of stakeholders.
This post will be part of a team responsible for the timely production of specialist public health reports, turning complex data into meaningful intelligence for decision-makers. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across government and wider organisations to understand how the pandemic has impacted the health of our Islanders and identify the wider health priorities to establish resilience and support recovery for the island.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the Island of Jersey and have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and support colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
