We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to drive technology projects through their lifecycle, who can anticipate and resolve any problems and bottlenecks. The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects through all stages of the project delivery process.

Key responsibilities:

• Organise and host problem scoping workshops with industry, government, and infrastructure organisations to establish where Digital Jersey can provide guidance, coordination, assistance and technical insight
• Research and architect technology solutions to problems identified
• Develop and manage all parts of the project lifecycle (planning, sign-off, management, evaluation and reporting) for a series of technical projects for Digital Jersey
• Lead budget and resource allocation through all project phases
• Build relationships with suppliers for project technologies both on and off-island
• Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects
• Build a risk management system for each project to ensure clear visibility of project risks
• Solve problems systematically and in collaboration with others, both internal or external
• Help in the management and delivery of projects and programmes for the Technology Accelerator Programme as required

Qualification required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field

Experience required:
• Experience of planning, managing and delivering multiple small and large scale projects
• Experience of allocating and managing budgets
• Experience of successfully navigating businesses and organisations, using effective influencing skills to ensure that projects are successfully delivered on time and within budget
