Here’s a great opportunity for a talented person who wants to develop their career in a successful and growing digital agency.

Due to continued growth in our increasingly international client base, we’ve created a new role in our Jersey office for someone with experience and broad-based skills in the implementation of CMS-based websites.

This role is wide-ranging, covering CMS implementations, API integrations, custom development, application design, and providing exceptional support to our clients, which is at the heart of Webreality’s excellent reputation.

Your expertise

To be eligible for this role, you must have demonstrable experience in the implementation of websites with one or more of the commonly used CMS products. Ideally we’re looking for someone who has been commercially active as a developer for at least two years.

You must already have exceptional skills in HTML and CSS, plus competence in Javascript/ES6+, and one or more front end Javascript frameworks. We’ll need you to be capable of turning complex designs into immaculate responsive code from day one.

We’ll also expect you to be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for and grasp of web technology generally.

You’ll be more attractive to us if you can also offer good knowledge of any of the following:

  • C# (.NET Framework and .NET 6/7)
  • CSS/SASS
  • Umbraco 7+
  • Visual Studio and VS Code
  • Figma
  • Windows Server.

It’s absolutely not a mandatory requirement, but to be the optimum candidate, you’ll also bring some existing knowledge of:

  • Razor/Blazor
  • SQL Server
  • Git and Git flow
  • React and Angular
  • Webpack and npm/NodeJS.

We therefore recruit primarily on attitude – we’re looking for someone who’s naturally oriented towards learning, knowledge sharing and exceptional service. If you’re right for us, we can provide everything you’ll need to tune your skills to fit us and our clients.

Our team culture is warm, open, non-hierarchical and fun-loving.

We offer:

  • a relaxed and fun working environment
  • a comprehensive medical health insurance policy for all team members
  • a generous holiday allowance
  • a flexible approach to special leave for extended holidays or travel
  • your birthday as an additional day’s holiday
  • team breakfast together every Friday morning
  • and our famous Christmas party over a December weekend.
