At the end of the course, there will be an e-learning certificate to complete as well as an assignment.
How will the course run?
A once weekly session of 3 hours in the evening after work. This allows you to continue in your present employment. Ideally, a laptop will be required, but a tablet will also suffice. You will also have 3 month access to the Digital Marketing Platform.
Who is the trainer?
Daniel has been working in Digital Marketing for the past 19 years, with extensive experience working both client side and within the agency environment. He is a Course Director for the CIM, a certified Google Squared trainer and a lecturer at Imperial College and Cranfield School of Management. Daniel is CEO of Target Internet.
Daniel has helped organisations of all types to use digital marketing effectively, working with a wide range of businesses, from startups through to global clients like the BBC, Sony, Tesco, Vodafone, Mercedes, L’Oreal and Warner Bros.
He is the voice of the Digital Marketing Podcast, a worldwide top-ten business podcast in iTunes, Managing Director of TargetInternet.com and an award winning author for publisher Kogan Page (Mobile Marketing 2013, 2016; Digital Branding 2014, 2016; Building Digital Culture 2016).
Daniel’s training and consultancy is backed up by many years of real world experience planning and implementing digital campaigns. Daniel prides himself on his practical and hands-on training content, and brings best practice from many years working for a broad range of International clients across the full range of digital marketing techniques.
His career has covered both the technical and business aspects of digital marketing, meaning he is able to bridge the gap between the two and make best use of the tools and technology available.
Learning digital marketing is hard – there is a huge amount of information available online and it’s a fast changing landscape. The programme structure ensures that students learn the right things in the right order, at the right pace, and makes sure learners are consistently given interesting real-life projects to work on with their peers, ensuring they don’t lose motivation.
Recommended Background/Entry Criteria
There are no minimum entry requirements. We look for applicants who are passionate about digital marketing and would like to pursue it as their chosen career, or we are seeking existing tech industry employees who will be providing additional benefit to their companies.
We don’t expect applicants to have worked in the industry before but we are looking for learners who are genuinely passionate about this field and are able to demonstrate their passion through examples of projects, self-learning and experience.
There will be a short list of candidates drawn up, followed by an interview process to choose the individuals who will sit the course. It is therefore in your best interests to ensure your application is detailed enough to get through to the second stage. We anticipate this course being heavily over-subscribed.

After the three-month programme, learners will have a good working knowledge of digital marketing to aid seeking employment or to benefit their existing tech employer. Learners will have a graduation and leave the course with an e-certificate.
