Going it alone – A debate on the struggles and rewards of starting your own business

For the first time, this year's Awards for Enterprise will be the culmination of a week of events created to highlight, celebrate and encourage enterprise in Jersey.

Moore Stephens and Close Finance are pleased to announce that they will be hosting their next networking event on the 10th June, at the Radisson Blu Hotel alongside Jersey Business’ Enterprise Week.

For the next event, they will be steering away from their usual format and adopting a panel style event, to debate on the struggles and rewards of starting a business in Jersey and the level of support there is available to SME’s on the Island.

The hope is that each of our panellists will be able to draw on their own experiences, not only from their own businesses, but also from those which they assist.

We are very lucky to have experienced and well known guests to join us on our panel, who will be able to offer a clear insight in to owning your own business and share their valuable experiences from their success. We’re pleased to announce that our panellists are:

  • Shaun Rankin, Ormer
  • Andy Cook, Jersey Business
  • Kristina Le Feuvre, aMazin’ Maze and Vice President of Chamber of Commerce
  • John Garton, Genuine Jersey
  • Chris Clark, Prosperity 24.7

7.30am – 8.15am Networking, 8.15 – 9.00am Debate, 9.00 – 9.30am Q&A
