National Information Security Conference (NISC): Regional Seminar

Whether staying ahead of the information security threats facing business today, for compliance reasons, or simply for best practice, Sapphire’s half day NISC events have been designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to protect their users, networks and data.

The agenda includes:

  • An overview of the latest revision of ISO 27001/2, provided by Vernon Poole CISM & CGEIT, Head of Business Consultancy for Sapphire and Member of Information Security Management Committee.
     
  • Addressing the challenges and solutions surrounding data control, provided by David Lannin Director of Technology at Sapphire.
     
  • The existing threat landscape – what is really going on out there, a presentation provided by John Yeo, Director of SpiderLabs EMEA.

 The presenters above will be joined by Matt Palmer, Information Security Manager and chair of the Channel Islands Information Security Forum, a forum developed to encourage collaboration and information share between security professionals on the Islands.

The event will be of interest to key individuals concerned with IT Security. This event is specifically targeted at CISOs, CTOs, IT Security/Network Managers, Compliance/Risk Managers and HR Directors.

The event is free to attend and we welcome registrations from both the public and private sectors.
