The truth about cybersecurity:what the experts don't want you to know

Cybersecurity is seen as a complex issue that managers and boards struggle with. There are many different approaches to solving the problem, but many of these are costly and ineffective.

This seminar will indentify the common misperceptions about security and explain- with practical examples- how to  answer the difficult questions and establish a security strategy that really works.

Presenter Matt Palmer, having delivered new and improved security postures in several major financial services organisations, is an accomplished CISO with both board level experience and hands-on practical knowledge of responding to cyber threats. Currently Chairman of the Channel Isands Information Security Forum, Matt is a member of the ISACA Security Advisory Group and an established speaker on cyber security, governance and risk. His views and analysis have been featured in a range of publications including the Times, the Economist, Internal Auditor, Computer Weekly as well as various industry journals.
