The 2019 Jersey TechAwards were the biggest and best yet, with a record number of nominations and night of glitz, glamour and digital success at the sold out event in the Royal Yacht Hotel.
The second annual Jersey TechAwards, sponsored by Prosperity 24-7 in association with BCS Jersey, was a fantastic celebration of Jersey’s burgeoning digital and technology sector, with a record 93 nominations submitted across 12 categories.
Hosted for the second time by finance journalist and comedy writer, Dominic Frisby, the awards celebrated the very best in local digital talent, creativity and entrepreneurship.
The stage at Jersey’s Royal Yacht Hotel glowed purple as winner after winner took to the stage to thunderous applause from over 300 attendees at the sold out event.

Thank you to all our Jersey TechAwards 2019 sponsors listed below without whom we wouldn’t have been able to stage such an incredible event.
Airtel-Vodafone challenged our TechAwards TV presenter, Gary Burgess, to capture all the highlights from the night, using just a mobile phone.
Take a look as Gary reports live from the night, showcasing Jersey’s digital talent at our biggest event yet, including interviews some of the lucky winners as well as a word from our host Dominic Frisby.
Each year, we ensure that the event gives back to the local community. In 2019 our chosen charity was the Donna Annand Melanoma Charity, whose dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to highlight the dangers of malignant melanoma as well as raising awareness of the disease.
Over the last decade, skin cancer rates in the UK have risen over 45%. It is now the fifth most common cancer in the UK and the second most common in people aged 25 to 49.
Prevention is a key factor for protecting yourself from the dangers of skin cancer. Generously apply a high-factor SPF sun cream, seek shade and wear protective clothing if necessary. It is also recommended to avoid tanning beds and make sure to check your skin and existing moles regularly for any changes. If you are concerned, please schedule a check-up with your GP or pop into one of the Donna Annand Bi-Annual Mole Clinics to get checked for free.
If you didn’t get a chance to donate on the night and would like to, you can do so here.
If you want your business to be at the forefront of progress, then we have sponsorship opportunities available for the 2020 Jersey TechAwards which can place your branding centre stage.
