Junior Software/Web Developer

Hello! I’m Luke.

I’m 18 years old and I’ve been interested in IT for as long as I can remember. I first started experimenting with programming when I was 12 and using an Android tablet, I believe I was learning JavaScript.

Fast forward a few years and I’ve successfully completed a 2 year IT course at Highlands College and I got myself a 7 month remote contract job which has now ended.

I finished college in July and I’m looking to get a job in IT in Jersey while I continue to learn from both the experiences in the workplace and via additional courses, such as those Digital Jersey provides.

Currently, I know Java very well and I’m competent with JavaScript, PHP, CSS and HTML. I’m aware that C# is a popular language in Jersey and I’m quite good at that as well.

I’m looking for a job as either a Junior Software Developer or Web Developer. Although I may not have years of professional experience, I am eager to broaden my knowledge and I look forward to hearing from you!
