The MAKER FAIRE, the largest of its kind, is a unique event that invites teachers and their students to develop a better understanding of the world tomorrow, by offering access to a range of workshops and exhibitions that enable them to explore and manipulate 3D printing, robotics, video games and much more.
The faire welcomes students aged between 6- 18yrs old who are fans of technology and creativity. The day will see them work with enthusiastic amateurs who are keen to show what they can do with today’s technology and share what they have learned.
Digital Jersey will be supporting a programme of 3D printing within local schools (starting with Grainville School this year) so this is a great opportunity for students to gain privileged access to the technology in a relaxed and creative atmosphere before they encounter it in the classroom.
If you are interested in attending the event on 11th October 2013 please contact firstname.lastname@example.org by 23rd September 2013.
