Carla Harris, Director, Digital Jersey commented:

“I’m delighted that the community has pulled together to put on an exciting programme of events. It's inspiring to see our members united in support of National Coding Week; we want to break down the digital barrier and allow anyone to come along and try out coding. It's really important that everyone realises we can all learn new skills for our digital age, as well as ensure our Island has the necessary skills for our current and future business needs. The Hub is the perfect environment for collaborative and educational events and we hope the momentum from National Coding Week will continue throughout the year."

Richard Rolfe, Co-Founder of National Coding Week commented:

“We are delighted that we have had such a strong response across the UK to National Coding Week, including from senior leaders such a Boris Johnson. It is great that Digital Jersey has promoted the event so well and we are very grateful to JT for sponsoring the week”.

Digital Jersey members are also being encouraged to share their skills and collaborate through the weeklong event. Anyone interested in attending a workshop can contact Sonia Ferri [email protected]
