Digital Jersey support NewFinance, a leading global FinTech network, as they launch the Jersey branch during an interactive forum on 22nd July 2015, 5:30pm to 8.00pm, at the Digital Jersey Hub.
NewFinance’s vision is to build a global network of FinTech clusters to support entrepreneurs who are bringing positive change to the global finance industry through technological innovation. They currently have more than 5000 members, with chapters in London, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Warsaw, Hong Kong and Singapore.
With almost $14 billion raised by FinTech companies in the last 12 months worldwide, Digital Jersey recognises the opportunities FinTech offers our Island. The initiative will enhance the Island’s financial industry, drive innovation and growth within our digital sector while diversifying Jersey’s offering.
The event will include talks by Andy Jarrett, Digital Jersey Director, and NewFinance Founder and CEO Eddie George, followed by an open-floor discussion and project showcase.
