THE BOOTCAMP

The goal of our Cyber Bootcamp is to provide you with a better understanding of cyber security risks, how they relate to your businesses and how to mitigate them. In addition, our discussions will cover COVID-19 related cyber themes and the dramatic change in working practices. It is undeniable that our bootcamp comes at a time where organised crime groups are exploiting the seeds of fear and uncertainty sown by COVID-19 and taking advantage of the control deficiencies in IT systems, targeting individuals and businesses in a variety of ways.

How will the bootcamp work?

Our Cyber Bootcamp webinar series will run for a period of five weeks, every Tuesday from 9 June to 7 July 2020. The sessions will be organised as 45 minute weekly digital presentations from our cyber security experts.

The bootcamp will be delivered online using webinar technology. We will even record every session and make them available for viewing if for some reason you are unable to attend all five sessions.

In the bootcamp we will:

— explore building cyber into your risk management framework and risk monitoring plans;
— discuss how to identify crown jewels and the level of investment required to protect them;
— deep dive into each of the core functions of the NIST framework (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover); and
— discuss key cyber security tips and tricks on monitoring your IT teams and/or outsourced service providers as part of your third-party risk management.

By the end of the bootcamp you will have a comprehensive understanding of Cyber Risk Management that will help you meet cyber regulatory requirements.
