This booklet seeks to highlight some of the varied digital careers in Jersey and the educational and apprenticeship options on offer. Our industry is growing fast. We’ve seen a 20% increase in digital sector employment since 2013 and that pace of growth is increasing. As some of the traditional roles in finance (our main employer) and other industries are lost to automation and artificial intelligence, it is very important that we all keep our digital skills updated and consider learning new ones.
You don’t have to be Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, you don’t need to have the exact skills to match a role, what you do need is a willingness to learn and an enthusiasm to take your place in the exciting and dynamic digital industry.
