Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Security Engineer Associate

Key Skills & Experience
Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end Azure solutions:
- Infrastructure, platform, and application-level architecture
- Security, scalability, performance, and cost optimisation
Strong experience with Azure migration projects, including:
- On-prem to Azure lift-and-shift and staged migrations
- Application modernisation and re-platforming
- Identity and access migration (AD to Azure AD)
- Integration of third-party line-of-business applications (LOB apps) into Azure environments
Deep understanding of:
- Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Active Directory: AD, GPO’s, DFS, DHCP, Certificate Services, etc.
- Networking, identity, governance, and cost management
- Hybrid cloud and on-prem integration
- All areas of IT Infrastructure: Networking, Storage, Security
Hands-on experience with:
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
- Security best practices, compliance frameworks, and role-based access control (RBAC)
Familiarity with third-party tools used in enterprise migrations:
- Email filtering
- Web filtering (Defender, Trust Layer, Cisco Umbrella)
- Backup and DR tools (Veeam, Azure Backup and Site Recovery)
- Monitoring and logging platforms
Proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft 365 services:
- Exchange Online, Defender, Entra, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune
Hands-on experience with:
- Entra, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Hybrid Join
- Autopilot, Intune, Powershell Deployment Toolkit, MDM/MAM, Group Policy migration
- PowerShell scripting for automation
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments:
- Setup, scaling plans, user profile management, FSLogix, and performance tuning
Familiarity with migration projects:
- Exchange to Exchange Online, file shares to SharePoint, domain join to Azure AD
- Data migration (Robocopy, Azure File Sync, azcopy, etc)
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Comfortable working in MSP environments
- Consultancy experience or client-facing delivery background is a strong advantage
