At our Annual Review event on 5th February 2026 at Cineworld, our community came together to reflect on 2025, share real examples of innovation, and focus on what’s next for Jersey’s digital sector. We also saw insights from published author and CEO of AI in Business, Katie King and local Economist, James Linder.

If you couldn’t join us on the day, explore the highlights below to see how we’re continuing to Accelerate Jersey’s Digital Future, together.

Looking back to 2025

2025 was a year of strong growth, active networking, high-performing co-working spaces, and real progress for Jersey’s tech sector. From record membership and increased use of DJX (our St Brelade co-working space), to new businesses choosing Jersey and fresh ideas taking shape across the Island, our work focused on action and impact. Watch the highlights to see how our community, programmes and partnerships helped drive innovation and support people building and growing tech in Jersey.

Katie King - Voted Top 10 Influencer in AI

Katie King is a published author, AI strategist and keynote speaker specialising in artificial intelligence and the future of work.

As keynote at the Annual Review, Katie said that understanding AI is now as essential as digital literacy was 20 years ago, as it becomes embedded in everyday work, decision-making and public services. She shared practical examples and introduced her Scorecard to help organisations assess their readiness.

She explained that AI is the strongest near-term lever for island-wide competitiveness, driving growth across finance, public services, tourism, agritech and professional services. However, she warned that there is no time for complacency. Jersey’s advantage, she said, lies in trust and speed, with the potential to move faster than larger jurisdictions and attract responsible AI investment and talent.

Katie highlighted the importance of constant curiosity and building agility into everyday ways of working. She outlined the shift from chatbots to copilots to agentic AI, stressing that organisations must redesign workflows rather than simply add new tools. She also emphasised the need for strong governance, data stewardship and regulatory clarity, positioning trust as a core driver of growth.

She concluded by linking AI to productivity, explaining how it enables organisations and economies to scale output without increasing headcount — a priority for Jersey, echoed by economist James Linder.
