The 7th Annual Jersey TechAwards were our biggest and best yet. Hosted by UK comedian Angela Barnes, the evening brought together Jersey’s thriving digital community to celebrate innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship across the island.
We recognised outstanding achievements across 14 categories, including the Digital Jersey Award, Judges’ Choice, and a new category introduced this year recognising innovation in AI.
Congratulations to EVie, winners of the Innovation Award, sponsored by PwC Channel Islands.
The judges recognised EVie for driving real change in sustainable transport. Through their shared electric mobility platform and affordable On Demand A2B service, EVie is helping Islanders cut carbon emissions and reduce private car use. This year’s surprise Judges Choice Award went to Ryde
Ryde was recognised for building Jersey’s first fully digital taxi network. In under a year, the team completed over 23,000 journeys, launched an EV-first fleet and achieved more than 10,000 app downloads. Their focus on sustainability, innovation and user experience shows how homegrown technology can deliver big results in small markets.

Mind Jersey is an independent local charity that provides support to people living with mental illness. Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental health problems fairly, positively and with respect.
They offer a number of services to ensure our community can be supported with their mental health, but also increase awareness and education about the difference between mental health, wellbeing and mental illness. To support people isolated because of mental health problems, MIND Jersey recently opened ‘Friends of Mine’ drop-in centre/cafe which is situated in Seale Street behind the town hall. Providing practical and emotional support for anyone 18 years old and over, no registration or referral needed.
