Amy has over 20 years’ experience in finance – as a chartered accountant by profession, she began her working life with PwC and has spent much of her career in public sector and charity finance roles.

Amy worked for both the Treasury and Health departments in senior finance positions before joining Jersey Hospice Care in August 2016 as Director of Finance. While at Jersey Hospice Care she led a complete review and restructuring of the charity’s systems and processes, developed future financial planning and  created the organisation’s financial strategy. In addition to her finance role, more latterly Amy was responsible for governance and risk management for the charity, as well as providing key input into retail, operations and fundraising.

Amy is also a board member of the Jersey Bank Depositors Compensation Scheme where she is jointly responsible with other members of the board for establishing, overseeing and maintaining arrangements for a compensation scheme in the event of a bank failure. Amy’s role is particularly focused on funding and budget negotiations, as well as acting as DPO for the scheme.

As COO of Digital Jersey, Amy is responsible for all operational matters including delivering the financial strategy of the business, from funding negotiations with key stakeholders to supporting the organisation’s long-term objectives to develop Jersey as a leading digital jurisdiction. Amy is also responsible for the internal processes and workstreams around culture and performance and is the company’s lead in people development and employee focused initiatives. Amy oversees the Digital Jersey facilities and provides support to the Board of Directors as Company Secretary.
