When Dan Hare was building his start-up, Continuum, Jersey was his perfect location.
The island’s thriving and growing tech community, connected through the Digital Jersey Hub, meant access to a trusted network of people to problem solve, and a collaborative environment in which to grow and develop, were all in one place.
With access to WiFi, printers, meeting rooms and a network of like-minded people, Dan Hare, Director of start-up Continuum says, “Jersey and the Digital Jersey Hub, have been the perfect place for me to build our start-up.”
Dan has been able to take on more staff and make use of the many flexible working options available in The Hub. Co-working connects you with like-minded people who, together, are at the heart of Jersey’s digitally skilled workforce.
Dan describes Jersey as “an outstanding proposition” and explains that with the acceleration of technology being in a smaller jurisdiction is no longer suffocating for small start-ups like his own business. In fact, he says it’s now more about building a trusted network and “Digital Jersey is a great place to base yourself because you’re not closed off from the outside network and you hear about interesting things other people are doing without it being a threat.”
With 26 permanent desks, more than 500 members, and four meeting rooms including access to Smart TVs and video conferencing it’s no wonder entrepreneurs and startups like Dan find everything they need to grow their business at The Hub.
