James Faure

    James is a highly accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with an extensive background in industrial engineering and data science. He is currently making massive strides in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) through his innovative work at Clairo.

    His academic foundation was laid at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, where James earned his Master’s in Engineering, specialising in Data Science. This education paved the way for his fascination with the convergence of technology and business, fueling his success in roles that demand a versatile mix of software development, machine learning, and cloud computing skills.

    James’ professional journey includes a significant tenure at CX Studio in London, where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s technological vision and business strategy. His expertise in GenAI technologies, data engineering, and solutions architecture played a key role in this process. Before his impactful stint at CX Studio, James honed his skills at Calligo Limited, where he developed sophisticated data pipelines and machine learning applications for high-profile clients, including Microsoft.
