Insight Session – Jersey’s AI Workforce Shift: What leaders need to know next
AI is no longer a future issue for Jersey’s leaders — it is a workforce, productivity and competitiveness issue right now. In this session, Stephan Thoma will explore what Jersey’s workforce data tells us about the island today, ie the local lens, then connects that picture to the major changes AI is driving across organisations worldwide. We will explore which roles and tasks are most exposed, why some of the biggest changes may happen inside seemingly stable back-office and administrative functions, and how leaders can start preparing now. Expect a grounded, provocative and practical session with clear recommendations and ‘walk-aways’ for the audience — minus the usual ‘jobs apocalypse’ theatre.
