Impact Jersey was created to accelerate and strengthen Jersey’s technology ecosystem to support the island’s future economy, environmental ambitions and community goals.
Through a series of Open and Challenge programmes, Impact Jersey will award funding to the island’s brightest entrepreneurs, inventors, students and innovators to tackle key issues facing the island.
The Innovation Programme offers targeted, flexible funding to help innovators, entrepreneurs and businesses turn ideas into solutions that benefit Jersey’s economy, environment and community.
Open year-round, the Innovation Programme funds pilot projects, proofs of concept and scalable solutions that align with Jersey’s island priorities. With tailored support and a simplified process, Impact Jersey helps deliver impact for Jersey.
Up to £500,000 will be available per quarter (with a maximum of £1 million available in 2025 and £2 million during 2026).
New Innovation Programme backs bright tech ideas to deliver impact for Jersey
CXTech invited local and global innovators to develop and deploy tech-driven solutions aimed at enhancing customer experiences, productivity, and efficiency across Jersey’s retail, tourism, hospitality, and logistics sectors.
The funding will be granted on a 50/50 match funding basis, making the total potential impact of the programme £1m.

The CareTech Challenge invited business to develop and deploy tech-driven solutions to address the health, independence, and safety of Jersey’s ageing population, benefitting both carers and the people they care for.
The first Open Programme offered small grants to innovative proposals that introduced technology or services addressing the Island Priorities. Successful applicants were awarded up to £75,000 to contribute towards their work over a period of up to a year.

The first Open Programme aimed to understand the size, make-up, characteristics, strength and quality of Jersey’s entrepreneurial ecosystem to create a base line of understanding for Impact Jersey, for future comparisons.
