eWealthGlobal (EWG) is a regulated fintech payments provider processing billions in global transactions annually. Our platform is built on modern, cloud-native architecture with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, and financial-grade controls.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on internship for someone interested in development, websites, AI, and real-world systems. You won’t just observe… you’ll build, experiment, and deliver in St Helier, Jersey for 6 weeks (full-time).
What You’ll Work On
Your time will be split between:
1) Working within the IT department (BAU) with the option of spending time in other departments
- Work with developers and support team on real platform components
- Support internal tooling and automation
- Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, serverless patterns)
- Understand how fintech systems operate (payments, workflows, controls)
2) Intern Project
You will take ownership of a technical project, with a strong emphasis on development, or AI.
Example project directions (final scope shaped with you):
AI / Automation
- Build an internal “Bot” or assistant (LLM-based)
- Automate document processing or data extraction workflows
Prototype AI-driven operational tools (support, monitoring, analysis)
Software Engineering
- Develop or enhance an internal tool or dashboard
- Build APIs or services within a microservices architecture
- Improve developer workflows or system observability
Data / Insight
- Create dashboards or analytics tools
- Explore transaction or operational data for insights
What You’ll Gain

Who We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong interest in technology, software development and/or AI
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment and learn quickly
- Logical problem-solving mindset
- Ability to take ownership of a task or ideaDesirable:
- Experience with JavaScript, Power Platform, or similar
- Interest in AI/ML, LLMs, or automation tools
- Understanding of APIs or web development basics
- Exposure to Git or collaborative development
