The opportunity

Yoono is looking for a senior commercial and relationship leader to build and lead our business across the Crown Dependencies.

This is a significant opportunity to join Yoono at an early stage in its commercial growth and help establish the company as a leading investigative intelligence platform across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

The role combines business development, strategic relationship management, market leadership and client engagement. It is intended for someone who understands the Crown Dependencies’ financial and professional services markets, is credible with senior decision makers and can translate trusted relationships into long-term commercial partnerships. This is not a conventional high-volume sales position. Success will come from understanding prospective clients, identifying where Yoono can solve meaningful business problems and building the confidence required for organisations to adopt a new category of intelligence technology.

The Country Lead will have considerable autonomy and will work closely with Yoono’s CEO, Chief Revenue Officer and wider leadership team.

About Yoono

Yoono is an investigative intelligence platform for organisations making high consequence decisions about individuals.

The platform brings together identity, corporate records, ownership, litigation, adverse media, reputation, relationships and wider public-source intelligence into a single, structured view. Yoono helps organisations conduct deeper due diligence, identify risk earlier and make decisions with greater confidence. It sits between conventional screening tools and traditional, manually delivered intelligence investigations, providing investigative depth at a speed and scale that can be incorporated into everyday business processes. Our customers and prospective customers include regulated financial services businesses, fiduciaries, fund and corporate services providers, professional advisers, private markets firmsand public sector organisations.

The role

As Country Lead, you would be responsible for developing Yoono’s commercial presence and senior relationships across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. The initial priority would be to build on Yoono’s existing momentum in Jersey, while progressively developing opportunities and relationships in Guernsey and the Isle of Man. The role would involve working with senior leaders across trust, corporate services, family office, wealth management, funds, banking, legal and professional services organisations. You will need a strong understanding of complex client relationships and regulated businesses with responsibility for identifying, developing and converting new commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Yoono’s presence across the Crown Dependencies

  • Act as Yoono’s senior market representative across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
  • Develop a clear territory plan aligned with Yoono’s wider commercial strategy.
  • Build Yoono’s reputation and profile within the region.
  • Represent the company at relevant industry events, forums, roundtables and private meetings.
  • Develop relationships with professional bodies, industry groups, regulators and other influential stakeholders where appropriate.

Develop new commercial relationships

  • Identify organisations and senior decision makers for whom Yoono can deliver meaningful value.
  • Build trusted relationships with chief executives, managing directors, partners, board members and senior risk, compliance and commercial leaders.
  • Generate high quality introductions through existing relationships and wider market engagement.
  • Lead consultative conversations to understand prospective clients’ current processes, challenges and priorities.
  • Introduce Yoono in a way that is relevant to each organisation and its operating model.
  • Progress opportunities from initial engagement through demonstration, testing, commercial agreement and onboarding.

  • Develop relationships with intermediaries, professional advisers and other organisations that can introduce or recommend Yoono.
  • Explore opportunities for Yoono to support multiple teams or use cases within larger client organisations.
  • Help create strong client advocates within the Crown Dependencies.
  • Maintain senior oversight of strategically important relationships following contract signature.

  • Maintain clear records of opportunities, actions, decision makers and next steps.
  • Provide accurate and realistic commercial forecasts.
  • Prioritise opportunities based on strategic value, commercial potential and likelihood of conversion.
  • Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and CEO on major proposals and negotiations.

Support successful client adoption

Coordinate demonstrations, test reports and proof-of-value activity.

  • Ensure new customers have a clear understanding of where and how Yoono should be used.
  • Support the transition from commercial agreement into onboarding and adoption.
  • Maintain senior relationships with key clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand adoption across teams, services and jurisdictions.

The Country Lead would initially focus on organisations including:

  • Trust and corporate services providers

  • Private banks and wealth managers
  • Law firms and accountancy practices
  • Private equity, investment and private markets firms
  • Banks, fiduciaries and other regulated financial services businesses
  • Corporate intelligence, risk and compliance providers

Experience and capabilities

The role would be particularly well suited to someone with:

  • Significant experience in Jersey’s fiduciary, wealth, family office or regulated financial services sector.
  • A strong understanding of complex client structures and multi-jurisdictional relationships.
  • Experience managing senior client and intermediary relationships.
  • The credibility to engage boards, partners, business owners and senior executives.
  • A strong professional network within Jersey.
  • The ability to develop relationships progressively across Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
  • An understanding of the commercial, governance and regulatory pressures faced by fiduciary and financial services businesses.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to recognise where a client need can become a meaningful opportunity.
  • Experience coordinating the needs of clients, intermediaries, investment professionals and other advisers.
  • The confidence to present a sophisticated technology proposition without relying on technical language.
  • A consultative and relationship led approach to business development.
  • Strong written, presentation and communication skills.
  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity and discretion.

Direct experience selling enterprise software or intelligence technology would be helpful but is not essential. More important is the ability to understand complex clients, establish trust and lead senior commercial relationships.

Measures of success

  • The quality and value of the commercial pipeline created.
  • New recurring revenue generated across the territory.
  • The acquisition of credible lighthouse clients.
