Programme
The Digital Degree Apprenticeship provides an opportunity to work towards a first undergraduate degree whilst working within an exciting and growing team. The scheme is available to applicants across the Channel Islands and will cover all tuition fees.
What you’ll do
We are looking for ambitious, creative thinkers, who want to get their career off to a great start, working in an environment that will challenge and reward you as you progress.
Risk Assurance provides advice and assistance based on our deep information risk management and business process skills to help our internal and external clients improve the way they operate and use technology and data to innovate and grow, reduce costs, manage risks and change the way they do business.
During our four-year programme you will study towards a BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions degree with the University of Exeter, after the second year you will have the opportunity to select a specialist pathway for your third and fourth years in one of the following areas: Software Engineering, Data Analysis, IT Business Analysis, IT Consultancy, or Cyber Security.
You will also have one week residential each term, along with approximately one day a week remote, with a role working as part of the Risk Assurance team for approximately four days each week. You will build knowledge and experience across our four practice areas gaining valuable foundational capabilities across Digital Audit, Data Assurance, Cyber Security and Tech Risk and Trust and Transparency Services.
Alongside studying for your degree, as part of the DDA programme we also commit to providing you with opportunities to undertake a blended learning programme including professional certifications, industry and market experience, and human difference (“soft”) skills training including leadership and self-awareness. You’ll have a lot of support from your team, career coach and buddy to help you achieve this.
Further details of the role can be found on both the PwC ‘Student Careers’ website and on the Government of Jersey’s ‘Digital Degree Apprenticeship’ page.
