We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our Cyber Security Technical Solutions team. In this role, you will provide expert advice and support on all aspects of information security, working closely with clients to design, implement, and maintain tailored security solutions that safeguard their environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in cybersecurity and excel at delivering exceptional client service. You will provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to help organisations protect their systems, networks, and data from cybersecurity threats. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, legal, and compliance is essential to ensure alignment between security strategies and business objectives.

About You

Should have a strong background in consulting together with a strong security capability, a confident presence in front of customers and in-depth experience in security consultancy skills.  They are also not afraid to roll up their sleeves and assist in the delivery of security solutions, leading from the front.

Key Skills

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of information security, risk management, and cybersecurity.  Able to identify and evaluate security risks, and implement solutions that defend against threats both internally and for Clients.

A degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, and other relevant security certifications.

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and methodologies
  • Previous experience in a 2nd/3rd line support role or consulting role
  • Understanding of incident and problem management
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work effectively in a commercially aware yet client sensitive capacity
  • Engage and provide professional and expert security support and direction to clients
  • Run security workshops and architecting bespoke solutions
  • Ability to build relationships and develop rapport internally and with external clients
  • Design, installation, and support of security solutions associated with delivering both internally and to external clients
  • Ability or drive to run your own team of consultants – upskill and mentor Consultants
  • Experience of Pre-sales activities would be desirable
