Ben set up his purpose-led agency during lock down and has gone on to win multiple awards including the ‘Gold’ award for Independent PR Practitioner of the Year at both the 2021 and 2022 CIPR South of England and Channel Islands PRide Awards, as well as the ‘Mark of Excellence’ at the national 2022 CIPR Excellence Awards.
In 2023 he went one step further, being named the UK’s top independent PR practitioner by the CIPR. He has done all of this whilst staying true to his mission of ‘helping good people do good’. Ben will lift the lid on the world of freelancing, the rewards and challenges, as well sharing the story of how he founded Second Mountain and fulfilled a long-held dream of working for himself.
