Workshops for children interested in, and curious about science, digital technology, art and making. Children will be learning how to make simple circuits and switches, they’ll be constructing, and decorating model insects, birds and other animals to be animated using simple motor circuits.
Older children will learn how to write code to make their models move and respond to their environment using BBC Microbits (small computer controlled devices). The finished models will be displayed in the upstairs gallery for the public to interact with and enjoy during National Coding Week (18 – 23 September).
