About this event

Challenge: The Ports of Jersey faces challenges with property data management due to reliance on disparate sources and manual processes. This leads to fragmented, inaccurate, and inaccessible information, impacting decision-making and operational efficiency for various stakeholders.

Areas of Interest: Tenancy & lease management: Integrate lease information, documents and financial systems into the digital twin for efficient lease tracking, rent collection, and tenant communication.

Infrastructure & asset management: Centralise asset management and maintenance data within the digital twin. Utilise real-time sensor data (SCADA) for proactive maintenance and asset optimisation.

Energy consumption: Integrate 3D photogrammetry models and inspection data into the digital twin to monitor and optimise energy consumption across PoJ properties.

What are the problems?

  • Data consolidation & integration: Develop solutions to migrate and standardise data from diverse sources into the one environment while ensuring data integrity.
  • Real-time visualisation: Create intuitive visualisations and interactive interfaces within the one environment to provide stakeholders with real-time property insights.
  • Advanced analytics: Leverage GIS data and digital twin capabilities to try to enable predictive analytics for maintenance, energy optimisation, and resource allocation.
  • Workflow optimisation: Design and implement workflows to streamline property management processes, such as lease renewals, inspections, and maintenance requests.

This is your opportunity to help some of the islands biggest challenges with our excellent Ports of Jersey team.

All teams or individuals welcome.

Support will be provided during the hackathon weekend from experts across all systems and datasets.

Thanks to all businesses involved in the Hackathon: Ports of Jersey, Government of Jersey GIS team, Digital Jersey, Europa Technologies, Augment City.
