An NHS Chief Information Officer & BCS Chair of Health & Social Care, with an outstanding delivery record of leading major organisational and technology enabled change programmes, Andy is passionate about the role digital can and must play in the future of the health and care system.

Welcome drinks and canapés in the Celestial Hall followed by speakers at 6pm:

Speaker Adrian Byrne, Director of Informatics at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust and Chair of the CIO Network. Adrian Byrne has 15 years’ experience in building an Electronic Patient Record strategically and through evolution, aiming for a single sign on to a common user experience.

Hear from Dr. Amir Mehrkar, NHS Digital clinical lead for Integrated Care supporting the Paperless 2020 vision on the ‘Robin Hood principle of data sharing’. Amir’s clinical informatics experience includes: National Clinical Lead for the e-Referral Service, CCIO for the Hampshire Health Record, Digital Clinical Champion for NHS England’s Patient Online Programme and recently CCIO for Orion Health, with experience in informatics leadership in Europe and the Middle East. In 2016 Amir co-founded www.interopen.org and www.interopsummit.com.
The evening’s activities will finish with a panel discussion consisting of the keynote speakers.
