In her recent blog, ‘Empowering Women to Take on Tech’ Anna Milon has started a conversation in the Islands about what it means to be a women in the technology industry and how we might encourage other women to consider a career in IT.
With less than 15% of roles in the IT sector taken by women, Anna’s talk will give an overview of her experiences, ways to enter the industry, the variety of roles on offer and signposting of where people who are interested can brush up their skills.
Anna will also be opening the floor for a Q&A question session so that attendees can get tailored advice.
