Accelerate, the accounting and business consultancy group, has strengthened its team with a senior hire, welcoming Laura MacDonald as HR and Operations Manager. Laura will support the continued growth and development of Accelerate, while also providing HR, operational and business support to the consultancy’s growing client base.
Laura brings more than 15 years’ experience supporting local organisations with people, processes, and operational management. Her career has spanned senior roles across Government and school environments, legal and professional services, as well as safeguarding positions across multiple sectors.
Alongside her professional career, Laura is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders. She has established her own platform to create mentorship opportunities connecting students with local businesses and helping young people gain insight into the world of work.
At Accelerate Laura hopes to share her structured approach and strong understanding of Jersey’s employment environment with those who need external support, helping organisations maintain efficient systems and a positive working environment.
