Digital Jersey is the government funded development agency tasked with accelerating the growth of the digital sector. Applications are now invited to join the existing Board to assist the organisation’s growth and development.
Key Board responsibilities include oversight of strategy, operations and governance, and providing practical assistance in achieving Digital Jersey’s goals, including delivering long term economic, social and reputational objectives, including the primary task of creating new jobs and diversifying the economy.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to make an effective and immediate contribution through strategic thinking, effective challenge and a willingness to be involved beyond the Boardroom. While a passion for Jersey and an understanding of the importance of technology to the island’s future are essential, the Board is seeking additional experience in the areas of business development, regulatory expertise and technology. The ability to help drive change and deliver results is paramount, as is developing Jersey’s international reputation.
