EWG launches SaaS platform, Structuriser, that helps clients dramatically improve compliance with global AML/CFT/CPF regimes.
EWG, the Jersey-based fintech specialist serving the fiduciary, corporate, and fund services sectors, has officially launched Structuriser, a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that helps clients create, manage, and submit accurate, visual corporate structure charts, dramatically improving compliance with global AML/CFT/CPF regimes.
Initially developed to enhance EWG’s own onboarding process, Structuriser is now being offered as a standalone global product. The launch was marked by an event at Digital Jersey last week, attended by industry leaders and former regulators including Justin Hygate, Julian Lamb, and EWG’s Chief Technology Officer, Denis Philippe, each of whom shared insights into the rising need for structured, verifiable ownership data across jurisdictions.
Structuriser directly addresses a growing global demand for transparency in corporate ownership, a cornerstone of AML, CFT, and CPF frameworks. By allowing users to visually map ownership structures and automatically flag potential issues or gaps, the tool helps regulated firms and their clients submit complete, accurate information, the first time.
“The first line of defence in any compliance regime is quality data,” said Denis Philippe, Chief Technology Officer at EWG. “Structuriser turns static forms into smart, dynamic visual workflows that reduce error, enable faster onboarding, and support meaningful AML/CFT checks.”
With support for the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard (BODS), Structuriser ensures information is structured in a way that can be easily analysed, audited, and submitted to registries and regulators. The tool also integrates with in-house compliance systems, reducing the burden on teams and ensuring consistency across jurisdictions.
Key compliance benefits Include:
· Structured data collection to ensure completeness and reduce human error
· Visual mapping to highlight complex ownership chains and hidden risks
· BODS-compatible exports for easy data sharing with registries and regulators
· Automated flagging of missing or ambiguous ownership links
· Reduction in rekeying and back-and-forth with clients and stakeholders
EWG developed Structuriser in response to real-world onboarding and compliance challenges. The company’s internal tech team, led by Denis Philippe, built the platform with full autonomy over the tech stack, allowing for rapid iteration, innovation, and alignment with evolving regulatory expectations.
“We don’t believe in technology for technology’s sake,” said Denis. “Every tool we build, including Structuriser, is designed to meet a genuine business and compliance need. And in today’s regulatory landscape, clarity of ownership and control is more important than ever. The feedback we have had from existing clients who are already using the tool as part of our EWG platform has been overwhelmingly positive.”
While Structuriser’s launch was timed to coincide with EWG’s sponsorship of the Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) in Tunisia, where the focus this year is transparency and efficiency, the tool has been designed with global relevance in mind.
Over 150 delegates from major financial centres and international bodies attended the CRF, reflecting increasing global alignment on beneficial ownership data standards and registry integration. EWG is the first Jersey-based company to sponsor the event, reinforcing the island’s growing role as a hub for regulatory technology and innovation.
EWG provides a digital alternative to traditional financial systems, offering multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments, escrow account services, and currency management, all through its easy-to-use platform and Lightspeed API. Built specifically for the professional services market, EWG’s technology enables clients to self-serve with ease, including opening multi-currency accounts within 24 to 48 hours. Regulated by the Jersey Financial Services Commission, EWG combines deep sector knowledge with agile technology to help clients operate faster, smarter, and more securely.
