Jersey eGaming has announced that it will be exhibiting at ICE Total Gaming on 3rd-5th February 2015, at Excel London. Following recent changes to Jersey’s eGaming offering, Jersey will be presented as the newest tier-one jurisdiction to emerge, offering low cost, high quality eGaming services.

Working in partnership with Digital Jersey, Locate Jersey, the Jersey Gambling Commission and local members of industry, this will be the first time that Jersey has been represented at such a significant international eGaming event. This initiative is funded by private sector investment from 8 companies that understand the immediate benefits for in launching Jersey’s eGaming profile such as generating employment and inward investment opportunities.

Senator Philip Ozouf will also be attending the event to provide support in his new ministerial capacity with responsibility for digital, to meet with businesses that are interested in Jersey as a potential eGaming jurisdiction.

Andy Jarrett, Director of Digital Jersey commented:  "Jersey’s eGaming offering has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is now arguably the most attractive of any tier one jurisdiction. Our investment in telecommunications, highly competitive licensing environment and reputation as the leading international finance centre with an unparalleled reputation for listing makes us the compelling new option for eGaming organisations looking for a high quality location for their business.  This is very much reflected in the growth of our homegrown eGaming businesses  – there are some exceptionally innovative and world-class eGaming initiatives being delivered in Jersey at the moment, and this is what we want to show at ICE Totally Gaming.”

Senator Philip Ozouf, Assistant Chief Minister with responsibility for Digital added: “It is extremely positive to see this sort of collaborative initiative being organised by industry and I am fully supportive of these efforts.  The nature of eGaming has developed and evolved over the years to become a wide-reaching and innovative sector. I am confident that Jersey can grow an appropriate and specialist eGaming sector that will benefit the island economy.”
