Individuals and businesses are now able to nominate themselves or other local innovators for the eighth Annual Jersey TechAwards – which continue to evolve to reflect the shifting nature of Jersey’s digital sector and this year feature a new “The One to Watch” category.
Organised by Digital Jersey, with support from headline sponsor EWG, the TechAwards are designed to celebrate cutting-edge innovation in the island and recognise the very best of Jersey’s digital talent, creativity and entrepreneurship.
Nominations are now open for individuals and businesses across 13 different categories, which this year include a new ‘One to Watch’ award, recognising an individual or a team in Jersey who is gaining momentum in the digital sector and whose impact, ambition and potential are already clear.
The full range of categories is as follows:
The deadline for nominations is 9th March, with an independent panel of expert judges lined up to carefully consider submissions. The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Royal Jersey Showground on Friday 16th October 2026.
Commenting on the launch of the 8th Annual TechAwards, Tony Moretta, CEO, Digital Jersey, said:
“The TechAwards is our biggest event of the year. It’s vital that we celebrate and demonstrate the innovation, talent and excellence we have across Jersey’s digital community. Just like our industry it’s important that we also innovate, so this year we have added a ‘One To Watch’ category, to celebrate those who are our future and are already making an impact as they develop in the tech world. I look forward to seeing the nominations come in over the coming weeks. I also want to express my gratitude yet again to our headline sponsor EWG, as well as our individual category sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible.”
Alan Yates, Director at EWG, added: “The depth and sophistication of Jersey’s digital sector continues to be impressive, and that is reflected year on year at the Jersey TechAwards, which as leading Jersey fintech we are delighted to sponsor once again. The Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the digital expertise and talent we have in Jersey and continue to encourage innovation in the industry – innovation that is essential to our future success as an island.”
