Vaiie is a leading RegTech SaaS company based in Jersey, Channel Islands. We help regulated financial services firms simplify and secure their client onboarding through Vaiie Onboard, our digital onboarding and identity verification platform trusted by regulated firms across the Channel Islands and beyond.

Following our management buyout, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth as we expand across the Channel Islands and into new international financial centres. To support this growth, we’re looking for an ambitious and highly organised Business Development Executive to work closely with our CEO and help accelerate our commercial activities.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that combines lead generation, relationship management, sales support, market research and commercial operations. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring opportunities are identified, nurtured and progressed through the sales pipeline while helping create a first-class experience for prospective clients.The ideal candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable engaging with senior professionals across financial services firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CEO in executing Vaiie’s business development and growth strategy
  • Identify and research prospective clients across trust, corporate services, funds, legal, family office and financial services sectors
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities including email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and telephone engagement
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, product demonstrations and follow-up activities
  • Prepare meeting briefs, prospect research and supporting materials for client engagements
  • Attend sales meetings and demonstrations, documenting actions and next steps
  • Manage and maintain CRM data, ensuring opportunities, contacts and activities remain accurate and up to date
  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, commercial documentation and RFP responses
  • Track sales performance, pipeline metrics and commercial KPIs
  • Assist with event planning, sponsorship opportunities and industry networking activities
  • Work closely with marketing to support lead generation campaigns and content initiatives
  • Develop a strong understanding of Vaiie’s products, market positioning and value proposition

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience in business development, sales, account management or a commercial support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Strong research and prospecting capabilities
  • Commercially aware with a genuine interest in technology and SaaS solutions
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software

Desirable:

  • Experience within financial services, technology, SaaS, FinTech or RegTech
    Understanding of client onboarding, KYC, AML or compliance processes
  • Experience supporting product demonstrations or sales presentations
  •  Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales engagement tools
  • Knowledge of offshore financial centres including Jersey, Guernsey or Cayman Islands
